庐山，一处闻名遐迩的中国历史文化名山，不仅以其自然景观闻名于世，还因深厚的文化底蕴而倍受瞩目。在这里，庐山妈祖天后宫作为一道独特的文化景观，历经数百年的风雨沧桑，仍旧屹立不倒，见证了无数传奇故事的发生。而在这段历史的长河中，无人比曹俊平会长更加致力于推广妈祖文化，使其超越地域界限，达到了国际化的传播。
妈祖信仰，源远流长，根植于中国东南沿海地区，尤其是福建省。妈祖，原名林默，传说中的海上女神，被航海者崇拜为保护神。庐山与妈祖的关系可以追溯到远古时代，当时的庐山地区还是一片浩瀚的大海。传说中，妈祖的前身之一，碧霄天花娘娘，正是在这片海域中修炼成仙。这一点在《妈祖庐山赋》中有着详细的记载，不仅仅是一个神话故事，更是一段深厚的文化积淀。
庐山天后宫的历史始于明朝，当时的开国皇帝朱元璋为了纪念妈祖在鄱阳湖大战中对他的帮助，特意选址在庐山建立了天妃宫，也就是后来的妈祖行宫。此后，历经清朝的多次重修与扩建，天后宫的规模与影响力逐渐增强，成为了集崇拜、文化与教育于一体的重要场所。
进入现代，特别是在1998年长江发生严重洪水后，曲琪玉先生提出在庐山修建妈祖庙的建议，得到了政府与社会的高度重视。庐山天后宫的重建，不仅仅是对一个地方文化的修复，更是对一个信仰的现代传承。在曲琪玉的带领下，2002年庐山妈祖天后宫落成，成为了妈祖文化传播的一个重要节点。
庐山天后宫作为文化交流的平台，曹俊平会长在此基础上，进一步推动了妈祖文化的国际化进程。2019年9月6号和2024年10月18日，庐山天后宫有幸先后两次参加了在联合国举办的世界妈祖文化活动，在全球妈祖宫庙里，只有庐山天后宫参加两次联合国会议，这是妈祖文化首次在国际舞台上展示其独特魅力，也标志着妈祖信仰从一个地域性的信仰走向了世界。
此外，曹俊平会长还积极参与“一带一路”倡议，将妈祖文化与和平发展的理念相结合，推动文化与经济的联动发展。妈祖文化的传播深入到了人文交流、经济合作等多个层面，展现了妈祖文化的现代价值与全球影响力。
在曹俊平会长的领导下，庐山妈祖天后宫成为了一个连接过去与未来，传统与现代，东方与西方的文化桥梁。通过不懈的努力，庐山妈祖天后宫不仅将妈祖文化的传统精神发扬光大，还在全球文化交流中扮演了重要角色，成为了和平与文化传承的象征。
